Some of this really sucks.

I LOVE being female - I LOVE that God put a mothering spirit into my heart so that I can nurture not just my own children, but also the children in my classroom.  I love being a mom, I loved being pregnant, and being able to nurse my own children.  I’m grateful for all the blessings that have come into my life in the form of people to love.  I love that my husband finds my form pleasing and attractive - that’s a nice feeling.

But there are some things about having a female body that completely suck.  It’s a time-consuming, messy hassle. ‘Nuf said.

Okay, How am I doing this morning?  I jogged 15 minutes on the mini-tramp, took a little break, then did 15 more minutes!  Hooray me!  I’ve already sucked down 20 ounces of water.  In about 3 minutes I’ll be getting off the computer to do my push-ups.  I did an astonishing ONE boy push-up, yesterday.  Oh, I dropped to the knees and did 10 more, then tried again later and did ONE and had to drop to the knees to keep going…  I’m such a wuss.

Today, let’s try for TWO.

Sounds like success to me! :) How do you like that trampoline?? How is it on the knees?

I ADORE my mini-tramp. It’s about half the effort of actually jogging on the pavement, so I try to at least double the amount of time I spend on the trampoline compared to the time outdoors. It is super-easy on the the knees - my aunt’s doctor had her get one because it’s better for the arthritic knees than a treadmill or even a stationery bike. But the real reason I love it: it was only $20 at Wal-Mart, while the treadmill I was looking at (and decided not to get!) was over $200.

Did you get the one that came with the dvd with it? I saw it yesterday but wasnt sure what it was like. I think I want one. I met a lady once who said she lost abt 60 pounds and the exercise she did was bouncing around on a mini trampoline.

No - didn’t get a dvd - that would have been COOL! I just put on the mp3 player and go. I started wanting one after I watched “You are What You Eat” on BBC America last summer. The lady on there is always sticking her clients on a mini-trampoline to get them started moving, and it looked like a good idea so I bought one. I’m so glad I did - I use it ALL the time.

I am so getting one! They have one there now that is abt $34 and comes with an arm pully thing that connects to the trampoline and an exercise dvd. If you say you use it all the time, then I am going to get it and I will use mine. I am just looking for different ways to exercise so I dont get bored and or/burnt out! Thanks:)
